Frequently asked questions
Does Shopify send invoices itself?
No. Shopify sends order confirmations, which are not invoices. Marketplace Invoice creates the invoice the moment an order is paid, links it to the order and emails it to your customer.
Is it VAT compliant in my country?
The invoice carries every field EU law requires: a sequential number, the date, your VAT number, the VAT rate per line and the totals. Business customers in another EU country with a VAT number get a reverse-charge invoice.
What happens with refunds?
A full refund creates a credit note that references the original invoice. It appears in your Orders tab, and is emailed if you want. Partial refunds are not credited automatically.
Do I need a separate account?
No. You install the app from the Shopify App Store and work inside your own Shopify admin. On your phone too, in the Shopify app.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Free covers manual invoicing with no limit. Your first paid plan starts with 14 free days, and you approve it in Shopify, so you always know what you pay.
What if I already have orders?
Import the last 30, 60 or 90 days. Orders that already have an invoice are skipped, and your customers are not emailed for an import.

I run a Shopify store myself and hit the same wall every week: the invoices. Shopify does not make them for you, customers ask for them, and invoicing every order by hand eats time you would rather spend on your store. So I built the thing that does it for me.
The tools that did exist were mostly one thing: too expensive. Quickly fifty euros a month for something as simple as sending invoices, stuffed with features I never touched. I didn't want an expensive suite, I just wanted my invoices handled.
